Fun&Fit from Cologne to Shanghai

In one of our past posts, in which we informed you about our successful participation in fairs that were held in Dubai and Amsterdam, we announced the expansion of our philosophy to new locations and continents. It is with great pleasure that we can confirm that we have achieved this goal by taking part in prestigious fairs in Europe and Asia.

Our company first participated in the Anuga Food Fair in Cologne that took place in Cologne between 7 and 11 October. The Anuga Fair, i.e. the “International Food Industry Fair”, is one of the largest international food industry trade fairs and is held every second year in this German city. The fair usually attracts more than 8,000 exhibitors from around 100 countries, and it is typically visited by more than 170,000 professionals from 200 countries.

After this, we visited the Far East, i.e. Shanghai. Between 5 and 11 November, The Fun&Fit Company was one of the exhibitors at the Chinese international trade fair “China International Import Expo (CIIE)”. It is one of the largest fairs in China with exhibitors from more than 140 countries. Our team, as well as other Serbian businessmen, had an opportunity to establish contacts with Chinese importers and distributors and learn more about global trends. The main aim of this event is to stimulate the import of foreign goods and services into China, in accordance with China’s goal to promote globalization and open markets. The fair is organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the China International Import Expo Bureau.

The director of our company, Ljubomir Babic, and the export assistant for the German and Chinese markets, Mladen Tomic, were present at both events. At the Cologne fair, they were joined by the director of production and procurement, Marijana Mirkovic, the marketing director, Aleksandra Milacic Jelaca, as well as Tamara Antonic from the procurement department.

International fairs are exceptionally important because they allow us to present the complete range of our products to foreign markets. Both of these fairs attract a large number of visitors from the food industry, offering us an opportunity to establish relationships with people from many parts of the world and achieve various kinds of agreements and cooperation – and to conclude contracts on the export of our products to some other markets.

As an exhibitor, we had an opportunity not only to showcase the entire range of our products, but also to present our mission, vision and the desire to make further expansion into foreign markets. With such a strong and capable team that represented us, we have no doubt that we have achieved great success!
