Spring awakening of the body

Sunny days and spring energy awaken in us the desire for change!

We often naturally turn to lighter food like fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and enjoy the mediterranean diet more.

Therefore, my suggestion for this spring is to turn to a nutritious, light, and refreshing breakfast – like a smoothie drink.

3 recipes for light and refreshing spring smoothies:

1. Blueberry and chia seed smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 50g blueberries
  • 30g Fun&Fit organic oat flakes
  • 20g chia seeds
  • 150ml almond milk
  • 30g vegan vanilla-flavored protein

Preparation:

Put the blueberries, Fun&Fit organic oat flakes, chia seeds, almond milk, and vegan vanilla-flavored protein in a blender and blend. Mix until a uniform mixture is obtained. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with blueberries.

2.Fruit and Fun&Fit oat flakes smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup of mixed berries
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1-2 tablespoons Fun&Fit oat flakes
  • honey to taste
  • a few almonds for decoration

Preparation:

Put the banana, mixed berries, greek yogurt, and flakes in a blender and blend. If it’s too thick, add a little water or yogurt. If you like a sweeter smoothie, add some honey. Pour into a glass, decorate with almonds, and serve

3. Apple and nutmeg smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons oat flakes
  • 1 red apple (peeled and diced)
  • 1 banana
  • a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon
  • a quarter teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 150 ml plant milk

Preparation:

Put the Fun&Fit oat flakes and fruit in a blender and blend until everything turns into small pieces. Then add spices and milk, and blend again until you get a smooth mixture. If the smoothie becomes warm in the blender during preparation, cool it for a few minutes in the refrigerator before consuming.

Enjoy!
